This excellent experiment in guitar-based rock opens with a patient, exploratory, 12-minute take on Pink Floyd's "One of These Days." After surviving the death of Man's Ruin, where the band's debut, Porn American Style, was born, Men of Porn conjure black light moods and hard psychedelic experience. One member of the group, Joe Goldring (Swans, Out in Worship), is given over entirely to tape loops and effects, unusual for a rock combo but perfectly suitable for these weird and wonderful sonic journeys. Experiments in Feedback can take stoner rock fans to the next level and make fans of vintage acid rock and psychedelia flash back to where it all began.
